International Kadampa Festivals
The highlights of the year for Kadampa Buddhists are the annual International Festivals which provide an opportunity to receive teachings and empowerments directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Registration for the 2009 International Spring and Summer Festivals (UK) will open in February. Book early to ensure you will be one of the fortunate to attend these events where you will receive the empowerments and commentaries to the practices of Buddha Maitreya, Wisdom Buddha Dorje Shugden, and Buddha’s Heruka and Vajrayogini.

Kadampa Buddhist Temples are united in their common purpose – to bring Kadam Dharma into the modern world and especially into our daily life. This week, delight in the Opening Ceremony of Kailash IRC as it opens its doors to offer retreat facilities to the international community of Buddhist practitioners. Take a look at the developments of KMC Brazil and KMC Canada as their building work nears completion; and join the preliminary preparations at Tharpaland IRC as the community there prepares for the forthcoming three month retreat schedule.
California Dharma Celebration 2008
In December, over two hundred people gathered from within the state of California and throughout the United States at the University of Philosophical Research to receive the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni and teachings from Gen-la Dekyong at the California Dharma Celebration.
